Character Description

Miss Circle is a murderous math teacher who devours those who fail her class alive, killing Abbie, Lana and contributing to Claire’s demise. Easily identifiable by her large compass on her right arm/hand and vaguely cat-like features.

Basics in Behavior’s main antagonist has been present from its inception. She can be seen spinning down the hall during the initial chorus before appearing in class to scold Zip and Oliver for tricking Claire into going to her room, which resulted in Claire running away thinking it was an exit point.

Miss Circle from this alternate reality appears similar to her original counterpart; she wears the same large compass on her arm and carries a sharp stick for impaling victims, yet has changed. No longer cruel and sadistic, instead she now displays shy characteristics and takes precautionary measures when visiting unfamiliar environments.

Relationally, she is close with Oliver and Zip; she also gets along well with other teachers such as Miss Bloomie and Miss Thavel. For some unknown reason, she appears fearful of lice and seems to favor certain students like Claire Oliver Edward which they do not take too kindly to.

Relationships

Miss Circle is known for being harsh and brutal to her students when they fail her classes, showing no mercy in killing them without mercy or regret. Yet at other times she may seem silly or goofy as an attempt at camouflaging her more lethal side; Oliver, Zip and Edward appear as allies within the school community.

She seems to be obsessed with lice, as evidenced by her wearing a hat with lice on it. There’s some speculation she may have feelings for Lana; there’s even official art depicting them together! Yet despite this attraction between them both, she still kills Lana when Abbie was murdered and eaten by Lana during Basics in Behavior.

Miss Circle is also close with Miss Thavel, another teacher known for killing students who fail their class. Although these two don’t interact much with one another, they do share one commonality – killing students when they fail their class is something both women seem to enjoy doing, as evidenced in Fundamental Paper Education short film.

Interactions of Miss Circle

Miss Circle represents the extremes of educational enforcement. She commands her classroom by inflicting strict discipline through fear and intimidation; her physical attribute, a compass attached to her left hand as an intimidating symbol, serves as a mark of her control. Miss Circle influences students in more ways than academic achievement alone – creating an educational experience which also involves life or death considerations.

Though playful at times, Miss Circle quickly turns cruel and violent once her students fail her class. She shows no pity when killing students without mercy; Zip and Oliver seem to be her favorites when it comes to following rules; in fact she even rebuked them when they attempted to trick Claire. Additionally she hunted and killed lice off-screen as Lana witnessed Miss Circle eating Abbie offscreen.

Pie is petrified of Miss Circle and always keeps an eye out for her. She knows of Miss Circle’s history with other students disappearing after failing her classes; while she has never witnessed anyone being killed by Miss Circle directly, stories of murder do circulate amongst students; thus making Pie wary to mess with her in any way.

Miss Circle is an educator at Paper School who kills her understudies in the event that they bomb her class, showing up first in Quite a while in Conduct. Her appearance features paper-white skin with shoulder-length black spiky hair. She wears a black shirt with white collar and white pants rolled up to the knee; tall black combat boots complete her attire. Miss Circle features two feathers in her hair as well as swirly-squarish ahoge on top of her head as well as three letter blocks labeled alphabetically.

Abbie becomes angry upon failing her test and smashes his desk before beginning to chase him around school, eventually catching up to him and trying to kill him herself; at that moment Engel saves Claire who then runs into lice’s room thinking it is an exit way; only for them to murder her instead.

Even so, she attempts to trick Zip and Oliver into entering her room by disguising it as her own room and scowling at them for doing so, even knowing they killed her student. Furthermore, she shows no remorse for any of her past killings, declaring everyone should fear her; yet it seems she still harbors some soft spot for Claire.
